How does it work?
You may order what you need and pay for it online on our secure site with your visa or mastercard. Seaweeds provides free same day delivery on orders over $75.00 provided you order before 12:00 noon the day of delivery. We deliver Monday to Friday with orders placed Friday delivered Monday. We also have a weekly bin program if you prefer to sign up for regular produce delivery you will receive a fresh selection of Certified Organic fruits and vegetables delivered right to your door, every Tuesday or Friday in our current delivery area. You may also choose to add additional items to your regular bin order if ordered by 12:00 same day. You can either pay right online on our secure server with a Visa or Mastercard or you can choose the fax option to give us payment information via phone or check. If you choose our regular bin delivery option, your organic fruits and vegetables arrive on your doorstep in a Rubbermaid container which helps keep produce fresh and crisp for several hours, even in summertime. There is a $20 deposit (refundable) for the container, and after your first shipment, simply leave the container outside your door with your cheque inside and it will be exchanged for one filled with your next week's supply of fresh produce. If you prefer to pay by credit card you can do so online the day prior to shipment or phone in the card information for us to keep on file to Tel: 604-886-1522.

How much produce do I get?
Each 36-litre container consists of 12 -14 items. Apples, oranges, and bananas are regular items most weeks, as are potatoes and broccoli. There are occasionally delightfully unusual items such as kale, mangos, and squash.

How fresh is the produce?
The produce is always as fresh as we can get it delivered to us the afternoon prior to your home delivery giving us just enough time to check for quality and hand select the freshest produce for you. We put together the containers at our store in the morning and deliver the containers to you the same day.

How much are delivery charges?
Delivery is free for first time customers and for those with standing weekly bin orders. All orders over 75.00 always include free delivery. Non standing orders under 75.00 will have a 7.00 delivery charge added to the bill.

Do you deliver other items besides Produce and grocery?
Yes we have hundreds of organic Groceries and Produce available for Local Delivery here including all the basics such as Dairy eggs, bread, and other staple items. We are constantly adding more of the itemswe carry in our store to our website for local delivery so check back often. You can even get your Personal Care products and Vitamins delivered at the same time as your groceries. Check our departments and shop online for the next delivery day on orders placed before 12:00pm at least one day prior to delivery. Some items such as fresh bread or milk may run out and to ensure enough fresh supply and you may prefer to add these items to your standing order to make sure you get these weekly.

Be sure also to check our online grocery specials each week. If you would like to add additional items to your weekly standing order just let us know and we will automatically deliver them each Tuesday or Friday with your produce order.

Can I make substitutions?
Certainly! You can make substitutions with each delivery. For example, if you don't want peppers or onions you can ask for more apples or broccoli (or whatever items you prefer from the week's selection). You can always check the current weeks Produce Bins selection. Also if there are items you never want, let us know and we will automatically replace those items even if we don't hear from you.

What if I want larger quantities?
We can supply you with bulk quantities of any number of different items or also if you would like to add an extra pound or two of any of the weekly items we can do that as well, either add directly online or email us orders.seaweeds@gmail.com to add to your order at orders.seaweeds@gmail.com prior to the cutoff deadline of 12:00pm the day before delivery.

Where does the produce come from?
Seaweeds Market uses local farm fresh produce whenever possible. During out of season months we import produce from certified organic farms in warmer climates.

How much does weekly bin delivery cost?
A container costs just $38.00 for choice quality, organic produce. We offer an all fruit box or a fruit and vegetable box.
